We are delighted to announce that Mindspa was awarded the ORCHA Health App Quality Mark.
ORCHA’s approval represents an important confirmation and recognition of the app’s quality. ORCHA is the world’s leading, independent digital health evaluation and distribution organisation, trusted by national health bodies in 11 countries, including the NHS in the UK.
Mobile apps are evaluated by ORCHA against more than 350 indicators, including Clinical Assurance, Data Privacy, and Usability standards and regulations.
At Mindspa we are very proud to have received this recognition, as it gives our users the assurance that our app is safe and trustworthy.
Nowadays, to demand and supply of mental health app is rising rapidly. During recent lockdowns, the number of people searching for mental health apps has increased by 200%, showing a growing need for psychological mhealth solutions. With more and more developers entering this market, it’s extremely important for users to know which apps they can trust, based on independent evaluations.
As ORCHA pointed out in their recent report, however, not every app is fit for purpose. Only about 20% of the health apps reviewed by them has passed their quality standards.
This certification proves our commitment to provide our users the best quality, while we continue to expand on more markets (recently, we have added more languages to the Mindspa app, now available in English, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Japanese).
